Nowadays, society doesn't sentence a man to jail time for carrying out the criminal offenses of coition. We have produced to accept marriage act more inside our society today than persons did in the 17th 100 years. Back then, committing the trouble of coitus was as bad since murder, and an adulterer could be sentenced to death. Luckily intended for Hester Prynn in The Scarlet Letter, she's not sentenced to loss of life for assigning adultery.
